There is about a two month supply of inventory in the Old Northeast section of St Petersburg FL.

In real estate terms that is a seller’s market. There’s been murmers of a market cool down, and the fact that last year’s days to contract was 6 days less points to the fact that the market is slightly cooler but it has not turned into a buyer’s market.

Bike the Burg

We will be touring the Old Northeast on our July Bike the Burg ride. Join us on 7/13 to get to know the neighborhood a little better and see a few of the homes for sale.

Sold / Closed Activity

In the last six months there were 100 closings, and coincidentally a year ago the same period also had 100. The number of days to contract is a little higher this year, and the price this year is higher by $21 per square foot.

Comparison is between 6/19/2019-12/21/2018 (180 days back from the date of writing) and a year prior 6/19/2018-12/21/2017

Properties for Sale in the Old Northeast

The 51 homes for sale come in asking $331 per square foot (median) and have been on the market for 63 days. If you consider the 98% list to sale ratio they are in line with recent sales in the area.

These homes have been on the market twice as long as other homes were.
