Living in downtown St. Pete is amazing, and it’s great to be able to walk out your front door and have access to everything the city has to offer. If you’re a pet owner you know it can be hard to find a building that allows pets, let alone one that is pet-friendly!
We reviewed all the condos in downtown St. Petersburg to find the buildings that allow the most pets, the largest pets, and have the fewest pet restrictions.
There are only a handful of buildings that allow three pets, and all of them have breed restrictions in the condo docs. There are many more that allow two pets, and we focused on those that allow larger dogs.
1 Beach Drive SE, St Petersburg FL 33701
Bayfront Tower is at the top of our list because of a combination of pet friendliness, affordability, and availability. It was established in 1975 and it’s common to see renovated condos for sale.
Only one pet allowed per condo, but there are no weight or size restrictions. They do ask for “no aggressive breeds”
Dues/Fees range from $900 – $1,633 per month depending on the size of your condo.
Parking is assigned and valet is available.
Prices Range from $500,000 – $1,350,000

This building is on 4th Ave where it ends at Beach Drive. Built in 2017 it’s still considered a new building and there hasn’t been much turnover yet. With only 29 residences this is a smaller luxury community than many of the high-rises downtown.
3 pets are allowed per unit, with no weight restrictions but there are breed restrictions. You’ll need a copy of the condo docs to review the details.
Dues/Fees – Monthly Fees are based on unit size, and run apx $1200 for a 2,140 sqft 3 bedroom condo.
Parking – 2 assigned spaces per unit, accessed through a secure entrance and car elevator.
Prices range from $1,000,000 to $3,000,000

This building is new and there are still brand new units available to purchase. The building includes 253 condos and a hotel. Marketed as luxury living with a concierge and rooftop social area, this is an exclusive property.
3 pets are allowed per unit, with a maximum of two dogs allowed per unit. There is not a restriction on weight but there are breed restrictions.
Dues/Fees – the median charged is $770 per month, but the dues are based on which condo you own and range from $600 to $3,000 per month.
Parking – each unit has 2 assigned spaces in the private garage.
Prices Range from $500,000 to $1,925,000

This building was completed in 2017 and includes 74 units over 13 floors. Overlooking the Dali Museum and the bay, this condo is on the south side of downtown.

Dues/Fees – the median charged is $600 per month, but the dues are based on which condo you own and range from $400 to $1,033 per month.
Parking is assigned in the private garage, with some units having one and some having two spaces.

Built in 2002 these condos are are only a few floors high and blend into the city more than most on this list. The buildings cover two city blocks and include resort style amenities and parking.
2 pets allowed per unit, upto 100 pounds allowed. $50 per dog fee paid to association for approval
Dues/Fees range from $350 to $650 depending on the size of your condo
Parking spaces in private garage area assigned. Street parking has a two hour limit unless you have a permit.
Prices Range from $200,000 to $450,000
