Where to watch 4th of July fireworks in Tampa and St Petersburg

Written by Kathleen Seide

I have a passion for helping others meet their goals. I focus on the important issues facing people. I am curious and adventurous by nature. I love exploring and understanding the world, sometimes that means meditation and other times I hike hours into the wilderness to see where a path leads.

There a lot going on around Tampa Bay for the fourth of July, take a look below at some of the best places to watch the fireworks and see what’s closest to you.

Downtown St Pete Fireworks (St Pete)

The City of St Petersburg is hosing a fireworks display along the waterfront again this year.

Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9 p.m. but can start as early as 8:30 p.m. and as late as 10 p.m. depending on weather.

There’s an App for that!
Enjoy the fireworks to synchronized music that is accessible through an optional, free phone app called J&M Displays. The app works with iPhone and Android systems.

You can easily see the fireworks along Bayshore Drive from the following parks: Albert Whitted Park, North Straub Park, South Straub Park, North Shore Park, Elva Rouse Park and Flora Wylie Park.

St. Pete Beach Rock the Beach (Upham Beach)

Starting at 2pm there will be live music 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Rock the beach will have free live music by the Brian Caudill Band and headliner Stormbringer, followed by a fireworks around 9pm
